Carrick Rowing Clubs Thomas Earley has added another major achievement to his distinguished rowing career after helping Cork Boat Club capture the prestigious Men’s Senior Coxless Four title at the Irish National Rowing Championships at the National Rowing Centre in Cork on Friday morning.

Rowing in the 3 seat, Earley and the Cork BC crew produced a strong performance to hold off late challenges from Commercial Rowing Club, Dublin, and UCD Boat Club to claim the coveted Senior Championship of Ireland title.

Originally from just outside Carrick, Earley first picked up an oar with Carrick Rowing Club, subsequently moving on to UCD BC in his university years and more recently Cork BC and has established himself as one of Ireland’s leading senior sweep rowers, enjoying success both nationally and internationally and now ranks as one of the most prolific national senior championship winners of all time in Irish rowing.
