Head of the Shannon @ Lough Rinn 2026

Dear Captain / Secretary,
Carrick on Shannon Rowing Club invites your club to participate in the 2026 Head of the
Shannon, which will take place at Lough Rinn, Mohill on Saturday the 5th December 2026.
There will be two races, at 11.00 and 14.15 over a course of approximately 2,800m. Entries will close Thursday 26th November 2026. All entries must be registered through the Rowing Ireland on-line tracker system. Entry Fees are to be paid in advance of boat number issue. Pennants will be awarded to the fastest crew racing in the official event category.
Coaches must ensure that their athletes are capable of racing in the conditions on the day and are wearing the appropriate kit.
Entry Fees: Eights €80, Fours & Quads €40, Pairs & Doubles €20, Scullers €10.
